A public talk with Tesfaye Urgessa
Protagonist of the "Beyond" solo show at Pitti Palace, Tesfaye Urgessa talks with Eike Schmidt, director of the Uffizi Galleries, Chiara Toti, curator of the exhibition, and Justin Randolph Thompson, director of Black History Month Florence.
The event is part of the Art section of the Black History Month Florence network. Founded in 2016, the BHMF is indeed a cross institutional network promoting the Black cultural production by undertaking to challenging flattened narratives about African culture.
A visit of the exhibition will take place after the conference.
