Uffizi: restoration and rearrangement works and rooms temporarily closed

Some of the rooms in the Uffizi are currently undergoing restoration and refurbishment work, so it is not always possible to guarantee their opening. They are closed for security reasons. On this page the visitor can consult the rooms that are not accessible. The list is constantly being updated.

Rooms closed to the public

C7, C8, D3, D9, D10, D11 (1st floor).
Work in progress rooms C9, C10, C11, C12.

Rooms A9 and A10 are involved in maintenance and refurbishment work. The paintings will be displayed on the first floor of the museum in the coming days.

To allow for maintenance work, rooms A40 and A41 will be closed from 24 to 30 November 2025, and room A42 will be closed from 1 to 7 December 2025 (the emergency exit will remain open).
