Artworks temporarily not on display

The lists are available in pdf format on this page

The artworks are not on display either because under restoration or because on loan to temporary exhibitions. When specified, the dates always refer to the time frame of exhibits. Be careful: due to necessary controls to be done before they are moved, artworks may be not on display starting from some days before the exhibit's opening date. For the same reason, once back, there may be a further delay before they are on view again due to necessary conservators' check-ups (the document shows the indicative date scheduled for the reopening of the room). The lists are updated every twe weeks.

The rooms on the mezzanino floor of the Treasury of the Grand Dukes and the Royal and Imperial Apartments will remain closed for the time being, because for architectural and logistical reasons it is not possible to guarantee compliance with the rules on social distancing imposed by the Covid-19 emergency within these spaces.

Due to renovation works, the Museum of Costume and Fashion will be closed until further notice.
