Upper part of the Boboli Gardens - Alternative route for visitors with mobility impairments
Temporary path to get to the upper part of the Garden (Fountain of Neptune, Chestnut Meadow, Forte Belvedere Entrance, Kaffeehaus)
Due to the temporary closure of one of the paths on the side of the Amphitheatre, for two weeks starting on Monday 10 November 2025, visitors with mobility impairments must follow an alternative route to access the upper part of the Boboli Gardens (Fountain of Neptune, Chestnut Meadow, Forte Belvedere Entrance, Kaffeehaus) coming from the Amphitheatre area.
Suggested alternative itinerary: from the Amphitheatre, move to the square in front of the Palazzina della Meridiana and from there reach the Great Branch Archways. Walk along the Great Branch Archways for almost its entire length and then turn left onto a carriage road that climbs slightly to the Chestnut Meadow.
