The small town of Bibbona hosts some 19th and 20th centuries masterpieces from the Gallery of Modern Art

A new Tuscan stop for the Uffizi Diffusi project, with the exhibition "La Maremma dei Macchiaioli" (The Maremma of the Macchiaioli) in Bibbona (Livorno), where art and nature come together in the representation of the Tuscan landscape: in the paintings on display, there is a clear reference to the territory and the surrounding nature, depicted with lively games of colour and light. The exhibition, centred on a selection of eight works that Macchiaioli and post-Macchiaioli painters have dedicated to the territories of Southern Tuscany, is on display in the spaces of the Comune Vecchio di Bibbona until 15 October.
