Pitti Palace. Temporary closure of some of the museum’s rooms
Partial changes to the visitor route
The Hall of the Iliad in the Palatine Gallery at Pitti Palace is temporarily closed to the public for exceptional maintenance work and refurbishment.
From Tuesday 3rd to Sunday 8th November 2026, the following rooms will be closed: Prometheus, Ulysses, The Education of Jupiter, The Stove, and the Poccetti Corridor.
The tour route will therefore be modified as follows: at the Castagnoli Room, visitors will proceed via the Venus Room to the Saturn Room, before returning to the Venus Room to continue their tour.
