The Lord of the Roses - ii

Video in Italian | Another lesson about roses by the Gardener of the Boboli Gardens

In a rose collection really worthy ot its name, no rose can be missing!

There is no rose like another, in terms of scent, shape and colour.

The painter Henri Matisse said: "there is nothing more difficult for a true artist than painting a rose". To paint this beautiful flower, the painter would have had to forget all the roses he had previously painted!

Today's reflection is about the varieties of a flower that is never the same or equal to itself.
