The Grand Dukes' Wine

Video in Italian | Strolling across an area of the Boboli Gardens where grape vines have been cultivated since the 16th century

Are you curious to know which was the Grand Duke's favourite wine?
Come with us across an area of the Boboli Gardens where different varieties of old grape vines are still cultivated with the same techniques employed by the gardeners of the Medicean age. A particular variety of old vine grape produces a wine that the Grand Duke used to drink at lunch and dinner everyday: it is called Moscatello.
