From August 31 to January 6, the medieval village painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the famous "Battle of Anghiari" hosted the exhibition "The civilization of weapons and the Courts of the Renaissance" in the museum of the same name. A unique occasion to celebrate the history of men of arms - a social stratum that distinguished the Anghiari between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
The exhibition promoted and organized by the Municipality of Anghiari - Museo della Battaglia and Anghiari is part of the 'Terre degli Uffizi' project, conceived and created by the Uffizi Galleries and the CR Firenze Foundation within their respective Uffizi Diffusi and Piccoli Grandi Musei projects.
