Shoes as seduction tool

Shoe separate us from the ground, support us in our gait, protect us and often torture us. They go beyond the diktat of fashion, because they tell a lot about the person who wear them, and recall plenty of rites and symbols. Last but not least, seduction no doubt deals with shoes.
Ancient sources say that courtesans used to wear sandals that, on the lower side of their sole, had hobnails arranged in such a way as to leave the phrase "follow me" on the ground. An enticing lure coming from afar!
