Gianluca Tagliamonte - Etruscan visions. Mario Schifano and the Etrusco-Italic art

Professor of Etruscology and Italic Antiquities at the Cultural Heritage Department of the University of Salento, Gianluca Tagliamonte deals with the life of artist Mario Schifano and his relationship with Etrusco-Italic art through three works he was commissioned to carry out. The 1985 live performance "La Chimera", the 1991 pictorial cycle entitled "The Etruscans" and the "Matres Matutae" cycle realized between 1995 and 1996.
