Visit the Camellia Garden!
Extraordinarily open in March and April
There is a "segret garden" inside the Boboli Gardens! Discover the Garden of the Camellias, extraordinarily open in March and April, during the blossoming period. Visitors will be welcomed into the Garden in groups of a maximum of 15 persons at a time, with no need for reservations.
School and tourist groups of a maximum of 15 persons will only be able to visit the Camellia Garden at 11 a.m.
The camellia is thought to have arrived in Italy from the far East around the end of the 18th century, and Tuscany was one of the most crucial distribution centres for this flower, given its abundance of local enthusiasts and growers.
