Covid-19: latest news on museum admissions

The visit to the Uffizi Galleries in compliance with the Government's decree

From 1 May 2022it is no longer mandatory to show the Covid-19 green pass certifying completion of the vaccination cycle or recovery from infection.

For admissions on Saturdays and public holidays, reservations are not mandatory. On free admission days, instead, no reservation service is available.

Holders of the Uffizi Galleries Passepartout tickets (Passepartout. Annual Subscription and Passepartout 5days) retain the right of priority access also on Saturdays and public holidays (except for free admission days). We remind you that the Passepartout 5days requires a reservation only for the Uffizi, which must be the first museum to be visited, by showing up at Door 3 of the Uffizi 15 minutes before the reservation time.

Admission to the museums and the Gardens is possible if body temperature, which could be measured at the entrance, does not exceed 37.5°C (99.5°F).  It is strongly recommended to wear FFP2 or surgical face masks (except for the Boboli Gardens).

Groups may not exceed 16 people (including tour leaders or guides) except for the Boboli Gardens where groups will be allowed until 28 people (leaders included); group leaders (whether tour guides, teachers or any other type of leader) must be equipped with a whisper system (microphone and earphones) if the group exceeds 6 people (including tour leaders or guides), except in the Boboli Gardens.
