Reopenings and Green Pass

Attention! Access with Green pass from 6.8.2021 in places of culture 

In compliance with government provisions, from 6 August it is mandatory to show a Covid-19 green pass to visit museums and exhibitions.
Minors up to 12 years of age and exempt individuals with specific medical certification are excluded from the obligation to exhibit this certification.
For visitors from countries that have not adopted the Covid-19 green pass, it is possible to access museums and places of culture upon presentation of equivalent certification (i.e. which presents the same data as on the EU Covid-19 certifcate) and which, in case of vaccination , certifies the use of one of the vaccines whose administration is authorized in Italy.

From April 27 the Boboli Gardens will reopen to the public from 8.15am to 6.30pm. Admission will be possible via the entrances of Pitti Palace and Annalena (via Romana 37A). As to the special openings of the Gardens also on the first and last Mondays of each month (closing days), please see the updated section of  Notices.

From 4 May also the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace reopen. The Uffizi are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8.15am to 6.50pm. Pitti Palace (Palatine Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, Treasury of the Grand Dukes) are open from 1.30am to 6.50pm.

For access on Saturdays and public holidays, reservations must be made at least one day in advance, in compliance with the Decree-Law no. 52 of 22.04.2021

Holders of the Uffizi Galleries Passepartout tickets (Passepartout. Annual Subscription and Passepartout 5days) retain the right of priority access also on Saturdays and public holidays. We remind you that the Passepartout 5days requires a reservation only for the Uffizi, which must be the first museum to be visited, by showing up at Door 3 of the Uffizi 15 minutes before the reservation time.

Admission to the museums and the Gardens is possible if body temperature, which is measured at the entrance, does not exceed 37.5°C (99.5°F).  Admission is also allowed to groups with guides, equipped with wifi devices of their own, up to a maximum of 16 people. It is mandatory to wear face masks (except for the Boboli Gardens without mass gatherings). As to Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, reservation is compulsory and is to be made at least one day in advance.
