Closure of the square in front of the Uffizi
From 16 to 19 June 2025, to allow the crane to be removed
The dismantling of the crane located in the Uffizi square will begin during the night between Sunday 15 June and Monday 16 June 2025, and will continue without interruption. As a result, the entire Uffizi square will be closed to the public until the end of Thursday 19 June, unless extended due to bad weather.
Visitors will still be able to access the Uffizi through Via della Ninna, Via Lambertesca, and Lungarno Anna Maria Luisa de’ Medici. The area beneath the loggia, where the museum entrances and ticket offices are located, will remain fully accessible.
