A rose with a sarmentose growth suitable for poor soil, north-facing walls and areas of partial shade. It flowers once in summer and produces small violet flowers with yellow stamens. The plant has no thorns and has a subtle fragrance.
Together with Rosa Debutante, it creates a contrast of colours and this pairing can be found in some of the most important rose gardens in Europe, such as Queen Victoria’s Garden in the United Kingdom and Parc de Bagatelle in Paris.
Origin: unknown.
