Pitti Palace. Temporary Closure of the Room of the Iliad

Partial changes to the visitor route

The Hall of the Iliad in the Palatine Gallery at Pitti Palace will be closed to the public from Tuesday, 30 June through Sunday, 25 October 2026.

As a result, the visitor route will be partially modified as follows. After reaching the Moor Staircase through the doorway from the Room of the Stove, visitors will retrace their steps, following this route: Room of the Stove, Room of the Education of Jupiter, Room of Ulysses, and Room of Prometheus. From there, they will proceed to the Room of Jupiter, then to the Room of Saturn, before continuing through the Rooms of Mars, Apollo, and Venus, and the Room of the Niches, from which they will make their way to the exit.
