Tickets now online for ‘Magnifico 1492’, the major exhibition dedicated to the collection of Lorenzo the Magnificent

The Battle of San Romano, Paolo Uccello

Among the numerous masterpieces on display is the extraordinary trilogy of the Battle of San Romano by Paolo Uccello, reunited for the first time in centuries.

Tickets are now bookable for the exhibition "Magnifico 1492", scheduled to take place at the Tesoro dei Granduchi in Palazzo Pitti, Florence, from 3 December 2026, to 1 March 2027.

The full price for an exhibition ticket is 18 euros. A reduced 15-euro ticket is also available for holders of any valid admission ticket to one of the three Uffizi Galleries circuits (Gallery of Statues and Paintings, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens) during the exhibition period (tickets online here).

"Magnifico 1492" offers an opportunity to explore the figure of the most famous prominent member of the Medici dynasty, thanks to a display that gathers more than one hundred works from his personal collection. The result of meticulous scientific and curatorial research leading to significant new art-historical discoveries, and strengthened by loans from the world's most important museums, the exhibition will offer the rare chance to see Paolo Uccello's extraordinary Battle of San Romano trilogy reunited for the first time in centuries (currently divided between the Uffizi in Florence, the Louvre in Paris, and the National Gallery in London), exactly as it was displayed in the Medici residence during the time of Lorenzo de' Medici.
