Rosa Banksiae Lutea
Giardino del Cavaliere, Piazzale del Corpo di Guardia Pitti
6 m (height) x 3 m (width)
Originating from China, this is a very hardy rambling rose. The small yellow double flowers bloom in large sprays and have a delicate fragrance.
The plant requires sunny but sheltered conditions to bloom well. Indeed, it is very suited to covering pergolas, walls and trees with specific supports.
It flowers once, usually in late spring.
