Minidress in black and white silk crêpe with a geometrical lozenge design, embroidered with rhinestones, black and white jet and black and white bugle beads. The crew-neck and sleeves are short. The zip fastener is located both on the shoulder and on the left hip. The lining is in white bemberg. The dress, attributed by Umberto Tirelli (1928-90) to Federico Forquet, was subsequently attributed to Tiziani with a design by Karl Lagerfeld (1933-2019) at the Bellissima exhibition. Here we have chosen to maintain the original attribution. The dress belonged to Catherine Spaak (1945-2022).
Donated by Umberto Tirelli, 1986
