Short-sleeved form-fitting dress. Broad shoulders typical of the 1980s, collar and sleeves in tulle with gold appliqué trim. Slit at the back; twenty small spherical buttons with gold thread level with the bust. Central slit to form a small train at the back.

The specimen is part of a generous donation made in 2000 by the designer Gianfranco Ferré to the Costume Gallery in Florence. The garments are representative of the artist’s creations from the mid-eighties to the mid-nineties.
