Extra fee for groups of 11 persons or more

Groups of 11 people or more are required to pay an extra charge of €70 to be admitted to the Uffizi

Starting from the 11th October 2021, to visit the Uffizi, groups of 11 people minimum are required to pay an extra charge of 70 euros collectively, in addition to the regular ticket price. Group leaders shall keep the receipt until the end of the visit, being subject to random inspections by the security staff and, should it be lacking, they will be required to pay for another fee at the ticket office or make up smaller groups.

The only exceptions are:

  • school groups included in the maximum number of school groups allowed per day (daily quota);

  • groups for tours organized by the Education Department, made up of children and a maximum of 12 accompanying adults. The total number of participants, however, cannot exceed 16 people for Uffizi and Pitti Palace (28 for the Boboli Gardens), excluding the activities held in Pitti Palace's museums from 15 September to 10 June (excluding the days between 23 December and 6 January), which can reach the number of 25 participants; otherwise, the security staff is authorized to lead them to the exit.

The admission for people with mobility impairment, if part of an organized group, is allowed with only one accompanying person, via Door 1 under the loggia of the Piazzale degli Uffizi.
